Anna Haslam – Pioneering Suffragette
Anna Haslam grew up believing in education and equality for everyone. A lifelong campaigner for women’s rights, she was brave and progressive in a polite and courteous way. She lived through a time of incredible change and hardship in Ireland and as a Quaker the call of Christian duty motivated her always.
